The need for C-Tick certification

C-Tick process
1. The manufacturer or agent submits an initial or written initial application to the certification company.
2. The applicant fills in the application form and sends the application form, product instruction manual and technical documents to the certification company (if necessary, the application company is required to provide a prototype).
3. The certification company prepares the plan and quotes it.
4. The applicant confirms the quotation, returns the quotation, and sends the sample and related technical documents to the certification company.
5. The applicant provides technical documentation.
6. The certification company issues a fee notification to the applicant, and the applicant prepays the certification fee according to the fee notification.
7. The certification company reviews the technical documents and organizes relevant certification activities.
8. If the technical documentation is incomplete or does not use the specified language, the certification company will notify the applicant to improve.
9. If the test is unqualified, the certification company will promptly notify the applicant and decide whether to suspend the project according to the situation, and allow the applicant to improve the product. The applicant should make changes to the technical information in the original application to reflect the actual situation after the change.
10. For the rectification costs involved in Articles 9 and 10 of this page, the certification company will issue a supplementary fee notice to the applicant.
11. The applicant pays the rectification fee according to the supplementary charge notification.
12. The certification company provides the applicant with a test report or technical documentation.
13. The Australian importer endorses & submits a report to the Australian ACA for registration number.
